I arrived back at the hospital around 9:30 p.m. Both Sandra and Katie were sleeping. It didn't take me long to wake Sandra up with the aroma of a couple pieces of pizza.
During the evening Katie was up and about. She rode around in a wheelchair for a little bit and she was awake longer than usual during the early evening hours. She ate a few bites of chicken for dinner and she seems to be having less pain. The doctors are encouraging us to get her up to walk tomorrow.
She had visit from another dog tonight. I haven't uploaded the picture yet, but I will as soon as I can.

We are so thankful that the Lord has been hearing and answering prayers!!
Mom also wants you to know that she thinks of you often and are in her daily prayers. She doesn't have a computer so between myself and Pam we keep her informed daily. It is such a blessing that Bro Bob keeps us so well informed. I check the site a couple of times a day to hear from you all.
We still have Katie on our prayer list here at Bible Baptist Church, and they mentioned this morning that her surgery went well but to continue to pray for her. So...you have a lot of "Prayer Warriors" in a lot of different states rembering you all in prayer.
We pray Katie continues to do well and that God will bless you all with the needed rest and patience through it all.
